Very sad sight. Amazing to see a lot of the stained glass windows still intact though. What will happen to the Cathedral now? I live in UK but have visited NZ twice and loved the city of Christchurch – so poignant to see what it looks like now.
While the idea of demolishing the Cathedral save for a facade has been suggested, there are still no plans as yet. I sincerely hope that they do not demolish it, but three years later, I do worry.

We don’t know Mary, but we’ll keep an eye out for developments.
